Guild Wars 2

I’m talking about a full-on 4-disc edition mentioned on the wiki http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Soundtrack
I’d buy CDs but neither the GW2 shop, nor directsong has it – I really don’t need CDs, I’d be happier with digital copies. I know if I searched I’d probably be able to download it, but I’d love to be able to legally buy the whole thing. I searched amazon, iTunes, isn’t not there.
Help anyone?

Sorry, it’s owned and sold by it’s creator through DirectSong. I wouldn’t mind getting it officially but I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

Yeah I went there and don’t see it on sale. I’d prefer to buy digital copies over CDs but don’t see either

Do not buy anything from DirectSong. The complaints about them when that CD set came out were legion. Many people sent money and never received either the music or a refund, being met with stony silence or irrelevant cut and paste answers from their customer “service.”

I believe (but could be wrong) that Soule — the composer — is not happy with ANet and won’t have anything to do with them or selling his music written for them.

In any case, the tracks should all still be on YouTube, or you can go the secondhand route, but a retail priced set is not happening.

Ah yes, the rare item market on Amazon. Spent $40 on an acrostic puzzle book that I found after Christmas at my local B&N, it wasn’t in the puzzle section which I checked before but in the discount/clearance section for $8, multiple copies in stock.

Bright side I get Amazon Prime Instant Video now.

Yes, I saw the $400 “deal” on Amazon – I’m not shelling out that much money on CDs that used to cost $29.99 (if memory serves me right) so that I can use them for 5min to digitalize the music.
I’m listening to the soundtrack on youtube now, but I wanted to have copies for myself to listen on my phone, when I’m out and about offline – and I started wondering if there’s a way for me to obtain it, you know, LEGALLY

(btw found some of the most recent one available for download here: https://soundcloud.com/arenanet ) – looks like Anet’s official legal source for the latest releases. Love the fear not piano version.

Or DL the whole thing with a youtube downloader. #37 explorers and artifacts is my personal fav.

I bought the soundtrack. The money was taken from my account, but I never got the copy.

I contacted DirectSong, they never answered.

Hopefully they will do something different with the soundtrack for HoT.
