I was wondering if anyone has tried deleting all their characters to start fresh and pick a new server???

Does anyone know if this is possible?

My Nephew created a his new toon on the wrong server and its 25 bucks to transfer him to my server. Can we just uninstall somehow and reinstall and pick a new server?

I’m not 100% on this, but it would make sense that deleting all the characters would indeed result in him being able to change his home server.

Uninstalling/Reinstalling will not affect anything other than whether you have the game installed on your computer.

No I don’t think so. It’s your account that has a home server, not characters.

I would either wait for some dev to answer your question here (unlikely) or send a support ticket detailing the situation and asking for assistance.

Changing servers is unnecessary now that guesting is in the game. Homeworlds are pretty much only for wvw now. He can choose to guest on your server, or vice versa, and you’re able to play together in open world.

Don’t think so. Your account belongs to that server now.

Yes we are planning on doing WVW and Guild activities…

Any Dev know the answer to this? Arena Net? Anet? Hello? lol

No you can’t delete your characters to transfer. I tried. : (
