I accidentaly sold my Guardian’s helmet from the bio. I removed it temporaly for another with better stats before transmuting it, and selling stuff to a merchant I double clicked it and the game didn’t even warn me like it usually does with special items.

Is there any way I can recover the helmet? :S

Sure is!

Make another Guardian with the visionary helmet. Transmute that helmet with another low level helmet, then trade it over to your other Guardian.

Problem is I got my 5 character slots full :P I guess if in the future I get a new character slot I can try it just for the sake of nostalgia then.

What about buy-back? That’s worked for me a few times.

what do you mean with buyback? From a friend? Didn’t know those items could be taken from other players.

Buyback from the vendor I think is what he means. If you’re still in game and didn’t sell it too long ago it might still be there I think?

You can go to any merchant and look at the tabs on the left hand side and there’s a ‘buy-back’ option (or something like that). You can buy back items that you sold from that tab if ur quick enough.

It was from a heart merchant and I didn’t seet it when it happened U.U

I returned but I can’t buy back anything now, I abandoned that map.

It’s possible to take the helm from a friend with a free slot and transmute it so I can use it?

Not sure if it works if you get it from a friend, but I’m leaning towards saying no.
You should probably just forget about the helm though, you will find plenty of awesome helms in the game

I tried and you can’t send soulbound items in PMs.

Yeah, I know at the end I would be wearing a different one, but I liked that one and wanted to maintain it while leveling. Also I like to keep special starter items ofr nostalgia :P

I guess when there is an expansion or other way to get a character slot I will use the other method. At least I know that I can buy-back items if this happens again.

Honestly, don’t get emotionally attached to any look or item until you get to higher levels. I ended up carrying tonnes of junk because ‘we had such good times together’, and used up all my transmutation stones trying to keep one piece of armour looking the same and still had to switch eventually. The pace of upgrades is just too fast to have a ‘trusty’ anything.

I don’t usually get to attached to items, just the ones from the bio (exept the warrior ones that are a bit ugly in comparison with the others), but I liked that helmet. Anyway, at least my Sylvari can just hide whatever helmet I make him wear so I can see the bioluminiscence all the time
