Can NVIDIA Shield run Guild Wars 2?
GW2 is CPU intensive and I do not think the CPU in the Shield meets the minimum spec of GW2.
No, looking at the specs…. 2GB of RAM and only 16 GB of flash memory. Also an Android OS. GW2 has trouble just running their Mac clients and doesn’t even have a Linux client.
Edit: GW2 also doesn’t even have controller support for pc
The OP is talking about game casting from the PC to the Shield. PC still runs the game but the inputs and display is on the Shield.
But I thought streaming was only supported via Steam supported games.
RIP City of Heroes
With streaming you have to be connected to the pc through your network. So you’d probably only be able to stream from your pc from your pc’s network. Probably wouldn’t be able to play any pc game outside your network, probably easier to sit at your pc to play any pc game.
That being said, this little dinky thing looks pretty cool. Wonder what kinda wizardry they put in it to be able to play select pc games.

PC games are streamed to it via network.
Assuming your PC can handle it, I don’t see why the Shield can’t.
