Can a guild switch servers?

I’m not sure if this has been answered yet (I looked around a bit on the forums and could not find an answer).

I have a friend who created a small guild for her family members. All of them are on the same server, but now they all want to switch to my server.

Can they transfer their whole “family” guild to my server and still keep all their earned influence and what not?

I’d read that guilds that have switched servers, up to now, have been losing their influence. It is a known issue and is being worked on.

From what I’ve read in the past, the influence stays on that server.

Though if its a family/friend guild, the community of the guild itself should be more valuable than the influence.
