Earlier in the week I tried to do Victory or Death but it was bugged on the airship. There are plenty of comments about other people having the problem but I was wondering if it was 100% or if some of us are just unlucky. I don’t want to repeat it if its certain to fail again.

What part did you get stuck at? Was it when the giants were throwing stuff at the airship? If yes, did you reflect what they were throwing back at them?

Just before. The giants were just standing around doing nothing.

I did it perfectly fine 2 days ago on a new alt. Give it another shot.

I did it yesterday without incident.

I retract this comment. It wasn’t bugged before but it is now for me.

Watch all the cutscenes. I had the exact same bug, and another progress-stopping bug in another story instance. Both of these times were able to be fixed by completely watching all the cutscenes.

It’s a pain in the butt, yeah, but if it works then I’ll just make a cuppa while I wait.

Victory or Death was bugged. You were unable to interact with the cannons. That has been patched since, so you should have no further issues.

If you read the OP, there is no mention of the cannons. This is a completely different bug that quite a few of us have experienced, and it was because of skipping cutscenes.

I emphasise that my problem was AFTER the 11 Aug patch that supposedly fixed it. The stage was “Keep watch for Orrian forces as the airship advances”.

Like I said my newest alt managed to do it fine just a few days ago. Give it another shot.

sometimes when you get on a canon it will kick you off and you have to click on it again, happens a lot near the end.

Yes, I’ll try again tomorrow.
FYI When I was stuck on the airship, nothing was active. Could not interact with the canons at all!

Well I hope it works next time. There is some more bad news for you tho, they removed all the loot drops from mobs and even the chests!

just did this part, like 2 hours ago… it worked fine (but you can clearly notice how amusingly odd it is with those 2 unmanned cannons letting those projectiles through)

I did it today and it worked fine. Took long as hell but it always does.

Hurray. Worked this time! Did take a long time didn’kitten although not quite as hard as I expected. Died a few times on the airship though!

PS For some reason it keeps adding ‘kitten’. No bad words in it! Oh I see now. Where it says Kitten was the letter t, then space then the word it. ! I guess it didn’t count the space.

It’s still bugged. I just tried it twice.
