Got almost 200k karma and more keep coming all time. so is there anyway turn karma to money? buying with karma certain items for vendoring etc?

I would strongly advise you refrain from engaging in directly swapping karma for gold in this manner if you do find a way to do this. these income streams are generally considered to be seperate and I would treat them as such.

They need to add more with karma though… Karma just keeps coming in, but nothing to spend it on.

Yeah its sucks have thousands karma and nothing to do with it. Give option to spend karma to siege.

There was reports that it was considered exploiting or something when people used chef karma materials to craft items that could be sold for gold. They patched it to not be possible to memory. Not sure if it was a value thing or just not meant to be possible.

How does that even make sense?

Why would crafting materials even cost karma in the first place then?

And what about salvage kits for karma? Are the salvaged materials not sellable?

Karma is for Legendary Weapons. You will need a minimum of 1 million karma to get a Legendary Weapon.

I’m not sure about this, but piles of salt and peper consit out of salt (gold) and pepper (gahter/karma). Now what you could do is buy allot of salt

for a legendary you need specific gifts. One of these gifts requires 250 obsidian shards which sell for 2100 (IIRC?) karma from a karma vendor in orr. Bringing you up to something like 525k karma needed.

There’s also another gift that you need 77 mystic clovers for. You have a 10% chance to get 10 of them using some recipe that takes I want to say 5 obby shards? which means you need 350 more shards on average for another 700k or so karma.

So yes, you will need over 500k karma at least, and then about a million depending on how lucky you are in order to make a legendary.

That doesn’t make any sense. Can’t you use karma to buy cooking materials, sell the finished product on the AH and thus make money from your karma? Otherwise, I’m not sure about obsidian, but if it’s tradeable it could become very valuable.

My advice relates to the use of karma as per the users opening post and not to create items to sell on the TP

If you’re not interested in 42k karma exotics or any legendaries then you can only either use it as a way to save some gold by buying gathering/salvage tools or buy green gear and drop to Mystic Forge to create sellables (might need to mix with a sellable green as 4 karma greens have created another unsellable karma green for me).
