Ok, my problem is I have a full set of damage gear, decked out with superior runes of the scholar. However, when I have a different mask equipped, with 3 more power on it than the Berserker’s mask of scholar I get more power, and more damage, despite the fact the berserkers mask of scholar grants the full bonus rune set, along with the rune equipped on it, which should give me more power, or perhaps I am looking into it wrong.

Not sure what you mean exactly.

When you put the piece of gear on with 4 more power on it, you get 4 more power.
You’re still getting the 5/6 bonuses from the rest of your gear. So no 10% bonus damage at 90% health. Don’t think that displays in your stats anywhere.

The exotic is giving you 4 more power than the green, which is displayed in your stat window.

<_< I was really over thinking things, or in a state of confusion. You made it sound so derpingly simple, and I am pretty sure you are right.

So let’s just pretend this was all just to show off my beautiful character.
