What the title says. Is there any way to change the colors from the default red and black? If not, will that ability be regranted someday?

They are tonics now so you can’t dye them. Unless they rework them completely again and make them costumes or armor they will always be undyeable.

Hopefully they will shoehorn town clothes back in, but until then.. Nope.
Red is SO not my color. :\

Honestly I don’t get it why they didn’t left the town clothes as they were.

Huh. Well, I can only hope they rework it later on, because I kinda liked those town clothes.

On a related note, I created a character after the change, and now I can’t get the basic town clothes tonic for her. Is there any hope for that to be changed either? >_< I really want them all to have the basic set…

You can buy it on the TP.

You might still be able to remove them and have them converted to tonics by the guy near the TP in Divinity’s Reach.

New characters don’t get these items. Old ones get 3 tonics if they visit the Black Lion Armor trader. But you can get more at the trading post.

just wanted to add my voice to the disappointment at town clothes tonics as well as other various small changes that made no sense over that last patch. Good changes, but then random little bad changes here and there that tarnish things for me.

Give back and expand on town clothes…and personality meters that mean something!

You know what Anet should do if they ever fix town clothes? Polls for potential skins! It would be so much fun!
