Just wondering if anyone else is getting this, everytime I log in it says to check my firewalls, (Which are off) and does not let me log in. What is going on?

Maintinence. A bunch of folks in WvW got kicked mid garrison siege too.

As for your firewalls all being off, you know that is a terrible idea right?

Disabled them because the client said that it might be the issue. Apparently its not, and the only issue is the maintenance blew up my game XD

90% of the time when a program tells you it’s your firewall it’s not.

Just make sure you turn it back on now that you know other folks are having the issue

Mine is never on.. :/ Still, why would the game say it’s our firewall if it isn’t? Shouldn’t it just say it’s on maintenance instead? It confuses people like me…

its a default error message. anytime there is a network problem, being maintenance or what ever it will say that. A lot of errors are condensed into one error message.

Yea I wish more games would. But it seems the majority of connection error messages assume the servers are up 100% of the time and are never down for any reason.

If the servers were up, and you couldn’t connect, yea firewall would be a good place to check, among other things, but in reality in online games that kind of message comes up more often because the servers down than some kind of issue on the user’s end.
