Hey guys, I might totally be in the wrong area, but I’m new so forgive me. I am a lvl 12 Necromancer, I can’t for whatever reason change my second skill from “summon bone minions” to any of the other skills that are available for that slot.

I’m going to guess that you played for a while, then stopped or at least quit playing that character for a long time.

What you have is a skill slot that you don’t really have unlocked any more. They changed the level of that skill slot unlocking from level 5 to level 13. So, you have a skill in it already, but because that slot’s not supposed to be open yet, you can’t change it.

Just level a bit more, and you’ll be able to change it as normal.

It does. I decided to level up an Ele for a bit today, just for something to do (he’s a shill made for RP, not meant to last long). I was level 12, had a lot of weapon unlocks and utilities, all gained long ago. Today I could not swap out from the flame axe until I dinged 13, then all my unlocks were available.

Interestingly, I was also limited to Fire and Water even though I had previously unlocked a lot of Air skills and some Earth. Hitting 13 I got Air added in and just by equipping one of each weapon everything but Earth was totally unlocked. I’ll get Earth later, and equip them again to get the full set.

Unless he goes back on the shill shelf, of course

Previously created characters weren’t affected by the trait update, but all follow the rule of the NPE.
