Can we bring the bots back?
But then your threat will be replaced by those complaining they can’t make any money because mats are so cheap on the TP.
There are still bots everywhere..
don’t forget you get to sell your stuff for more $ too

In before the close, like seriously.
Ahh yes the typical, Oh No I can’t think of a good rebuttal so I will just randomly make claims of censorship so I don’t have to think too hard, reply…
Cheaper mats meant people of all play styles could afford to play the game and have fun. I have yet to meet anyone who thought farming mats was an effective way of making money in this game. Even using the best farming locations for the highest price mat (T6 blood) you will only get 4-5 bloods an hour, netting you a total of 1g using the now inflated prices. This is less then you get just spam farming plinx for an hour. But now if you need 250 Bloods for a rare weapon, or crafting, or a legendary it will cost you 50g as opposed to the bot driven price of 6-7g. So that is an increase from 6 hours of farming plinx to 50 hours of farming plinx.
I for one would rather the bot price and time scheme over the non bot.
I know I sure miss them in Orr. I stopped reporting them several weeks ago when the people starting disappearing. I die a lot more that is for sure. Maybe the Devs can make more roving NPCs that help out and revive. (Group) long chained events like in the straights of devastation don’t work so good either with no one around. Bots were somewhat helping by keeping certain areas clear.
Haven’t thought much about the economy. I thought banning them would make it better, but I guess I was wrong if others see prices for stuff getting worse. Maybe its the lack of players too that is making the prices go up.

Farm T5 blood, which drops like crazy, and transmute it with philosopher stones. However, that is all I will say, knowing fully that this is a pretty weak attempt at a troll.
BAI!
Learn to adapt. Instead of buying off the TP just gather. You’ll gain so many T5 and even T6 bones and venom sacks just from a natural playthrough of the game.
Prices will stabilize. The changes are temporary. The sky is not falling.
We are moving from a bot-driven economy to a player-driven economy, and we’ve all agreed we’ll like the latter better. Just be patient.

You were really farming T5 bloods to convert into T6 bloods via the forge. Now, however, it’s far less profitable than it once was, despite T6 also going up.
If this complaint isn´t meant as satire, I can only say “pffffff”. Yes, and now you can sell for higher prices.
I never understood the problem with bots. The people most effected by bots are hardcore farmers. Why? because bots increased the supply ten fold and in Econ 101 we learn that when you have more suppliers the consumer benefits.
But I still see bots from time to time. Not as much as before though.

I see… this thread is about cheaping out on legendaries. Fear not, like the seasons, the bots will come and go (ban waves).
I mainly make my gold from farming events and from time to time random groups of mobs where ever i can and even with the lower prices the income was good now if the prices are going back up it seems that it would be easier to make gold from farming for the players. Yes prices may go up to for some TP items but over all it should help MOST players keep up with wap points repair bills and may even keep crafting profitable. This may be hard on level up of crafting but i think it should let high level crafting become something that will make you gold (i must say i was never a big craftier so i am coming form that point of view). The only bad thing from this may be less bots to kill in wvw (this is a good thing too in that we can have more real players in wvw for every one!)

Well I was one of those people who went around reporting bots left and right and complaining about how they were ruining the game…
Turns out I was wrong, the lack of bots is what will be the ruin of the game. Prices for even the most basic materials have gone up 500-1000% since the bots vanished. I can’t afford to craft, I can’t afford to buy armor, I can’t afford to do pretty much anything since the bots were banned.
I hate to be saying this, but the game was better off when the bots made everything more affordable, I was having a lot more fun with the bots bringing in a steady supply of stuff, please bring them back.
In your reasoning we should support cell phone thieves because then we can then buy cell phones for a much lower price.
Serves us right? yes.
Is it moral? no.
Will you Still support bots when you get hacked and your account is used to farm gold to be sold to other players while you are unable to play? Please tell us…

Short term prices will rise since the supply of materials isn’t come in as quickly as before.
Long term prices will stabilize lower than where they were in the short term because players will start farming (or possibly new bots) and provide the supply.
The more people freak out about the situation the more prices will spike in the short term. So, thank you for contributing to the price spike. I suspect that by the weekend prices will have stabilized.
OMG having to actually set a foot out of of LA or ORR to try farming appropriate mats yourself .. inconceivable.
:~p (sarcastic :p )

Bots make all items normal players can farm themselves dirt cheap and at the same time insert so much money on the economy that the rarest items become affordable by the ultra rich only.
Think of the current precursor prices for example.
and in Econ 101 we learn that when you have more suppliers the consumer benefits.
Congrats for failing Econ 101.
Consumers need to make money too to actually consume, but can´t because they can´t beat chinese bots at it.
But the average politician and outsourcing transnational corp doesn´t understand that bit either, so you´re in good company.
so far only prices of t6 is what scares me yet again x.x esp vial of blood t6.

Well, if you want berzerker stuff, go farm the Crucible of Eternity and buy it there then :o As a bonus, you might loot some of the Charged Lodestones which are insanely expensive currently and get some nice money while helping solve this specific issue at the same time.
