Dear Arena.net,

The Dreamthistle weapon skins are absolutely amazing skins! So I was wondering if it would be possible for this wonderful theme to see completion, so what does that involve?

To start off with, we have a Logging Axe called the Dreamcleaver, and it matches the Dreamthistle set perfectly. So it would be cool to see Dreamthistle versions of the Harvesting Sickle, and the Mining Pick. The next addition to the collection would be a Glider, or a Back Piece + Glider combo. For the Glider, dye channels on the particle effects would allow it to stand on it’s own for those who don’t have any of the weapon skins. If gone the combo route, no dye channels would allow the two to match each other. For the last items that I think would be really splendid to see are, a Mask, Gloves, and Shoulders. The mask in particular would follow the glowing eye style, but have little thistle vines in a sort of mask shape surrounding the eyes, forehead, and cheekbones of our characters face, with the Dreamthistle particle effect glowing from the eyes, and possibly a texture that resembles a bloomed thistle. (The closest example is Glint’s Gaze, which has a similar colour theme to Dreamthistle, however the difference between the two would be the thistle vines added around the eyes, a different particle effect, and glow.) For the Gloves, I was thinking the hand section of the gloves could be the glowy dream part. Similar to how the Zodiac set causes the part that would be skin to be that celestial blue instead. For the Shoulders, possibly having a blooming thistle with the glowy dream part rising from that part of the shoulders. Possibly having only one shoulder be with a blooming thistle, and the other side having thistle vines wrapping around the shoulder. For me personally those three pieces would be an awesome addition to the game. Alternatively an Outfit could be made instead following a similar theme to the Verdant Executor Outfit. However instead of the paint like part covering the skin it could be the glowy dream effect like I suggested for the Gloves. (For the outfit I would highly encourage using the same boot shape that the Verdant Executor Outfit, Marjory’s Shrouded Outfit, the Daydreamer’s Finery Outfit, or the Spring Promenade Outfit.) However I would much rather have the Mask, Shoulders, and Gloves I suggested instead, since the Verdant Executor Outfit, and the Spring Promenade Outfit can be dyed to match well with the Dreamthistle Weapon Skins. Some additional pieces of content that could be added alongside these skins, could be a new area in the grove, that requires a Pass to enter with Dream in it’s name, like ‘Dreamthistle Basin’. Also the Dreamthistle skins could be rotated back into the Black Lion Weapon Skin Shop as well. These additions to the game would be incredible, and would make the Dreamthistle collection complete in my eyes. Anything else related to the Dreamthistle collection would be awesome, but I feel the items I have suggested would be more than enough.

This is a great idea. I love it. The Dreamthistle weapons are beautiful and I would buy armor pieces, glider and/or an outfit based on them.

Nope. They seem to have gone off rotation, I checked before making the post. Unless I am dumb and could not find them.

Edit: It does seem the door to that room has been closed. It seems a recent change, as I know I looked at the Dreamthistle set at the previous patch or two. Thus, they probably won’t be returned for some time, as weapon sets cycle in and out from the BL Specialists.

Yeah, I updated the wiki on them. That’s also why I suggested them to return with my idea
