I want the favor of the festival to return in some fashion. I’d love to get a couple sovereign weapons, but at over 150g each, I must grudgingly pass them up.

Seriously. My GW fervor has been running dry for weeks. This beta was meh – don’t get me wrong, I’m still happy they had it – but I want something to excite me again! With no HoTs release date on the horizon, no recent news regarding old prof elite specializations, etc. my hype train has crashed. Just give me some fun patch I can binge on for a few days/weeks

Dragonbash, Festival of the Four Winds (is this even possible?), I dont even care what it is. Make up something random, mishmash stuff from old events into a new one. I dont even care if the npc’s fell down and we only see their heads sticking through the floor! Or heck, just floating heads would be ok.

Please, give us something to do in PvE…… Its SOOOOOOOO BORING waiting.

They’ve already stated ALL of their staff is on HoT . They probably did pre purchase so early so people will buy it while still hyped, which will bring them back (when xpac releases) after they leave from total boredom.

Queen’s gauntlet can’t be far away. Suriel the Blazing Light is already training in Lion’s Arch.

Hopefully, i really miss the gauntlet .__.

Some of the festivals wouldnt take much for them to just activate, however. There are festivals that dont happen in LA.

PLEASE please bring back dragon bash.. restocking my supply of 20 minute food at this point would be most welcome! The chefs may not like it much, but I would be very happy with food that doesn’t cost one arm, one leg and one eye.

Dragon Bash – 11 June… so too late… also after what happened to the Pact…
Queens Jubilee – 6 August… so maybe, but it’s still a whiles away

Personally I dont want to see Boss Blitz come back. That was some toxic kitten worse than a reactor meltdown.

How about just a Lion’s Arch Return Festival where the Zephyrites return in a limited capacity to support the pact? #crystalshards

i dont even care what you give us anet is a buggy mess. just something. I hate how all I do is fractals and the usual dungeon runs. I got all the living story achievements. Dry top and silverwaste are also completed.

Pirate day or hell just because day. nothing to crazy some kind of simple event would be nice.

(laugh) I’m just remember how many people said the community wouldn’t get bored waiting for the expansion. They’d be okay with nothing to do in-between like every other MMO.

I love ANet sometimes. They really spoiled the community with their updates and festivals. Players had no idea how good they had it . . . until now.

IIRC, most other MMOs still manage to run the scheduled festivals while working on expansions. The problem GW2 has with the festivals is that they have been blended into the LW and have been used to propel the story with massive implications for the Festival itself.

Dragon Bash – Needs to be re-worked for the new LA adn with the rise of Mordremoth, it’s completely out of context won’t happen
SAB – was stated to have been using bugs within the movement programming that have since been coded out won’t happen
FotFW – The Zephyrites are broken and scattered won’t happen
Queen’s Jubilee – Contained exclusively in DR possible
Halloween – Hopefully HoT is released by then but has been stated will definitely occur
Wintersday – definite

WvW – The design team is hard at work with the new maps not likely

Even those few items that will occur or could occur will require many man hours to re-work just based on the condition damage patch. I’m getting as bored as the next guy, but I won’t get my hopes up for anything different until the end of October.
