Guild Wars 2

I kinda enjoyed going on the hunt for all the different items for making this and the fact that I visited places that I wouldn’t normally like the underwater area in Diessu Plateau etc. Also, given that he has a use and gives out loot, it was a cute addition to the game. The materials to make him didn’t seem outrageous and there was a sense of satisfaction on completion.

More stuff like this please…maybe even…dare I say..a precursor type of hunt thing?

It was a pain in the kitten to get and looks terrible. I’m all for scavenger hunts but then we get this complicated mess that mawdrey was.

Maybe do it more like the Black Moa Chick hunt was and less like the mind of an insane risen wizard.

It’s more for the planmt that u feed bloodstone dust..He can give out some very ncie rewards

I think if the way to obtain it was more like how we get the new carapace shiny skins then I would actually bother with it. Right now it requires alot of gold or grind to get all the correct items, while the new armor is obtained by simply playing the new content for a reasonable amount of time. Alot of items in the game are already extremely expensive for the average player and the way Mawdrey works is cool, but I don’t find it worth the time as it is now.

I’d like to think that Mawdrey hunt was a primer for precursors in the future.
