Can we have the full changelog already?
I think the real riot will be over the countless patches 2 hours after needed to have everything working right.
You will get some minor notes with what has been reveled so far.
With the introduction of gliding I am expecting days/weeks of fixes for bit of scenery we can get stuck on/in/under.
Patch notes: (summary)
Gliding. Everywhere. (Well, most places)
Mesmer: alacrity increased by 1000%
Thief: all skills nerfed as thief is too strong in PvP and needed to be brought in line with the other professions.
ANet may give it to you.
My torch is close to going out and I re-sharpened my pitchfork eight times.
I am looking forward to them too, but you posted this at 1:15 AM in the morning thier time. Let’s let them get some sleep so that someone doesn’t do a removal versus a copy. Yes? Good gaming to you!
De Mortuis Nil Nisi Bonum.
Anet have never posted patch notes before a patch happens, because apparently what’s in it can change at any time right up to the patch going live and they don’t want to announce changes that aren’t happening, or miss something out and be accused of trying to hide it. (Both have happened before, but apparently by accident.)
We’ll get the patch and then a few minutes after that the patch notes.
And they’ve already said they won’t be fixing problems causing by gliding in Core world maps. Which means I’m looking forward to breaking out of all the maps.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
Come on guys, you could have released patch notes at least a day before.

are we there yet.
No
Reminds of me of a scene in The Mummy Returns with Alex on the train.
No excuse anymore for not giving ‘hide mounts’-option
No thanks to unidentified weapons.
They only ever release the patch notes once the patch hits. Well, most of the notes, they tend to miss some important points off more recently

They don’t release them until patch is out for market manipulation reasons.

Anet have never posted patch notes before a patch happens,
To be 100% accurate, they have posted patch notes slightly ahead of the patch itself.
Still, Danikat’s point remains true:
- Things can change right up until the patch actually goes live.
- ANet’s standard practice is to release the notes after the changes are in-game; the exceptions are tiny in number.
