I was away from this game for some time… is it still possible to access the Flame & Frost prologue story content or it’s too late?

Got my answer, thanks anyway. So much for free added content… that’s removed the month after.

Whoever told you this is incorrect, nothing has been removed.

The first leg of the prologue required you to help refugees along the trail, collect and deliver mementos, light fires, and fix signs. All of this can still be done, and still rewards you with the new title.

The second leg added two events to each of the areas, where you have to stop a dangerous buildup of steam using pieces of rock you bash out of golems. This event can still be done, but it spawns infrequently (as it always has), and it doesn’t reward you with anything beyond what a normal event does.

The third leg added the portal events, which spawn frequently in multiple places between both areas, and count towards the newest living story achievements.

Conncept is quite correct, it is all still there. A visit to a herald in any city will direct you to the zone(s) and off you go.
