Q:
Can you fail Queensdale Oak Champ event?
A:
The oak needs to be killed and the two pack-trains need to be away from the monastery or else the Behemoth will not spawn. Mostly block events not fail events.
there is timer for the event ? if no, i wonder how you can possibly make it fail…..
Archeage = Farmville with PK
The only fail there is, is it staying alive. It will live until someone defeats it. It is not part of a chain of events.
According to wiki, if the champ is not killed, the Shadow Behemoth will not appear.

“Defeat the champion rotting ancient oakheart event must be completed as it prevents the swamp meta events from triggering”
It can be failed by simply not doing it.

Really! Then, some one needs to update the Champion Rotting Ancient Oakheart page. Lol.
I’ve never heard anyone mention that the Oakheart was preventing the Behemoth from spawning before. Learn new things every day!

Yeah, I didn’t know either. I researched wiki for this question and by digging through several pages, came across the note at the bottom of the page for the Shadow Behemoth event. I was wondering if the Axatle from the portals killed it and was trying to find that information.
I remember when the game first started, the Shadow Behemoth rarely started up. Maybe it was because people weren’t killing this champ and it was blocking it.

Not a fail… From the oak side the event remains there, from the sb side oak considered a “block” and it will advance as soon as it’s done.
Maybe it is something with shared spawnpoint? I dunno.
And everything can fail. Ofc. if you are on the champtrain no way it is ever going to fail. But as mentioned above. Not doing it (have seen it ignored by a majority of people) or if you a noobish person trying to solo it. It is soloable, but not for all.

Failing to kill the champ doesn’t fail the event.
As far as I know, this is not an event that can fail in any way, it just stays active until someone completes it.
