I would love to use the flower backpiece on my sylvari, but it doesn’t match his colors at all, and I do not want to change him. Here’s a pic of my sylvari to show how much the flower would clash XD

Nope. It’s just what the twilight arbor medium armor looks like. No juggernaut!

Me wants capez! Capes or hipster scarfs..! Hipster scarfs in pink…..or I quit!

Actually I’m hiding my infused Quiver of Swift Flight because it’s not matching with my white-red-yellow cultural armor. It would be a nice adition.

I too am totally in favor of dying backpack pieces especially with that squid color karka backpiece. but the problem is i dont think they will because of the backpieces you pay money for that are set at a specific color like the pink or purple quaggan backpieces. If they let us dye backpieces it would render those pieces obsolete and universal preventing Anet to make additional money off of these items

I bought Rox’s quiver and would love to be able to dye it; I can understand certain weapons and a few back pieces not working well with custom dyes, but some of these should definitely be dye-able.

While I love the original white flower (I like plumeria :P). I do want to dye the stem part of it since its green doesn’t match my grassy green armor. But I can make do with what it is.

But I’d love to see them let people dye their backpacks. It’d make much more diversity for people and they could make the backpacks exist match their armor better. I’d also love to see different colored flowers everywhere. :P Only issue I can see is changing glow and particle effect colors might be a thing. But who knows.

Also I love your dye scheme. It’s very vibrant and cool to look at.

+1. Would love to be able to Dye back pieces. They’ve been raising in importance more and more since every event seems to include them. Mine as well.

I agree this would be a great feature. As much as I love my quiver (and I do), it does stick out like a sore thumb, not matching the general color scheme I’ve set up for my ranger going all the way down to the bow skin.

Speaking of which, being able to dye some weapons like in GW1 would be awesome as well.

Yes, please. Dying backpacks and such would be a great improvement. If there are some special ones that are meant to look just one way make them ‘not dyeable’, but let us have the rest of them in any of the colours we have worked to get.

It would be nice but there are the back items that are rare as is that come in different colors. I am not sure how that would work out.

Actually… each of the Quaggan (and Charr, for that matter) backpacks are unique, not in their color scheme, but also in their designs.

Blue Quaggan Backpack is the “classic” quaggan backpack.
Pink Quaggan Backpack is the “female” quaggan backpack (complete with a bowtie).
Killer Whale Quaggan Backpack is the “sharp teeth” quaggan backpack.

Charr are mostly color schemes, though.

I agree they should do this.

As for the plush backpack dilemma they can just prevent certain backs from being dyable if they are from the gem store.

agreed however they still haven’t fixed engineers we have the hobo backpack look, what would the CEO of Abercrombie say! GASP! LOL

We need more backpacks period and if they’re equipped they need a graphic that’s all there is to it.
