I’m talking about the whole chain that goes from capturing the area north of the temple to the boss fight and following event. Has someone ever soloed it?

The videos I found on youtube are from 2012 but I recall the temple getting harder sometimes in the early 2013. So yeah, anyone tried?

Just to the risen priest with my regen warrior, and mostly using a rifle up on the coffins/ledge. Past that the minion swarms are too much.

The temple has been buffed twice. The first time was the buff to Grenth where they gave him the vortex mechanic. The second time was with the Orr revamp, where they buffed the skills used by enemies, causing the defense part to get super buffed.

In the past, before both updates, I’ve solo’d the entire chain. After both updates, I’ve solo’d Grenth, but not the defense event. There was simply too many adds, veterans and champions. I’ve never tested how the waves spawn, whether they’re one after another or based on a timer. If they’re on a timer, you’re simply going to get overrun. If it’s one after another however, you could probably kite them around the room and just wait out the timer.

The last time I tried the defense event solo (post update), I was constantly bombarded with ground targeted AoEs. I actually got through the first couple of waves, but then a champion spider spawned with a bunch of veteran spiders and whatever it did just 1 shot me. I was expecting egg sacks at least, like normal risen spiders, but it just went straight to adds.

(Also, I solo it legitimately, killing shades and evading AoEs – I don’t use whatever current exploit there is to ignore mechanics. And I’ve never done the entire thing solo, a couple people usually show up half way through and die or at the end.)

6 man the best i pulled off it was with random ppl but still they where very good at playing. I think the shads would be too much but i guess daywolf did it?

Nah, it’s not so much an exploit, you still get hit. The shades just don’t bother with you for a little bit so much, not until they start spawning in added waves which you really need to finish off the priest before that happens (no time to WP once). Same can be done by standing at the communion point, but then it’s a little harder to dodge the AOE’s as it is to just shuffle along the coffins. If you look at the coffin stack, it’s set up for players to jump up there. The added risk is that if you fall off the back you need to WP out, or if you are lucky/unlucky, the priest will join you there heh

We’ve 3 manned it (Ele, Mes, Guard)

Tried to do it with 2 but was unsuccessful on around 10 attempts.

Yes, I soloed it post patch. No video though. I haven’t gone to orr for awhile since they made it crap again (not the champ farm or wateva fail event thing they had on either)
