I’m very curious…. should we sell or hang on to them?

I have maybe 6 stacks.

Obviously…if someone really knows….we may get the wrong advise.

Just curious as to what others may be say.

If they release new stuff you can get with candy corn, its price will likely go up. If they don’t, then its price will plateau once halloween starts (read: market starts getting flooded) and then go down until the end / after the halloween events.

If you have the inventory space, sit on it so you don’t have to buy it back for more than you sold it – if you don’t, or need the money – sell.

FWIW I’m sure they’ll add something new that uses candy corn, but it may not be something enough people desire to combat with the sudden influx of supply that halloween will bring.

Edit: seriously? The contraction for do not + comma + its = censored? That’s an overly aggressive regex /filter if ever I saw one.

gw2shines has some great data on how item prices change over time. Let’s see if the forum will let me post a link:

Last year candy corn did just what Cyn said: started going up before the event, peaked about 2-3 days after the release and then went down again. (After the event ended it started gradually increasing again, and it’s been mostly going up ever since.)

We don’t know if this year will be different, but if I were selling my stash (which I’m not), I’d wait until the weekend at least.

Hang on to them. I bought a bank tab full a few weeks back, so if there’s any collections I can rush through them all. And then I can sell the leftovers back when i’m done with them (or give them to guildies, I dunno)

of course it is…. cuz contained within that contraction and the beginning of the second one is a slang term for female breasts example isn’T IT lovely?

any form of 7 + its (7 = T) results in 7its, regardless of the use of punctuation in the middle

I have 50 stacks from last event and i hold on to it.

They mention: earn sweet new rewards

When this new rewards need candy i got some rdy and when not, i can build about 4 Halloween Pail bags for my chars.

My guess would be that the price will increase a little in the build up, jump to a peak in the first few days of the event as impatient players splash gold to get stuff quickly, then the price will gradually drop as the event goes on.
It is only a guess though.

3000 candy corn always equals a new 20-slot bag, so I always keep them.
I ought to buy a bunch while the price drops for the event, too. Hmm.

Many alts; handle it!

You’d think the mass glut of corns will lower prices initially when it all starts. Start out a little high, then go down and down with the glut…

THEN toward the end with the tons more gold people should have from places like auric multi etc the last year, you’d expect prices to go up because people will try to get them for various things before it all ends. The last few days desperation/too-lazy-to-earn-em-themselves factor.

But it’s like the stock market… when you think you know how it’ll go, you lose.

I’ll sell any excess asap, beginning to end.
