Guild Wars 2

I’m trying to get one of my friends into the game without forcing him to buy the expansion. We have looked high and low on the internet and can’t find any digital download spots to buy just the core game. What gives ANet?

no more $10 sales, expansion supposedly coming out “soon” but we don’t exactly how soon is “soon”.

Amazon has the physical copy for about $22, gotta wait for the discs to arrive to create the account but I think you might be able to download the client (or give them a copy of yours) in the mean time.
