After getting portal stone i went to hom and guess what, npc tells me that in this life i do not travel same paths and stuff like that. In my account management page everything is fine, it says accounts are linked and that i should go to hom, but nothing happens there. Maybe i need a precise level or something else ?

if your GW1 went banned, you can’t claim your rewards. In my opinion, it’s just like a scam from Anet since they never told that people with banned GW1 account couldnt claim their rewards, they did it on ~20 september when they couldnt fix their rewards buggy thing. And now Gw1 & Gw2 account are bounded, you can’t even play Gw1 with an alt account to get rewards on Gw2. How pityfull when you know you get banned by mistake but they don’t care and say: “hey you accepted our reglement, we can ban you whenever you want and you look guilty to us so we won’t accept unban you. Hf”.

I never got my rewards either and I’ve been playing GW2 since the head start. I get exactly the same thing as the OP when I visit HoM (Hall of Monuments). My GW1 account is not banned and in GW2 it says my accounts are linked.
I’ve had a support ticket in from the first week of release, but so far, nothing. The last response I got was an automated message with a series of Q &A none of which addressed my problem. At the end of the message was a small note by a staffer stating they’re aware of the problem some people can’t get their rewards and are working to resolve it. That was in early September.
A few weeks ago, I wrote them again, asking what is going on and still haven’t received any response.
I have 50/50 in HoM , worked my butt off in GW1 to get it and it seems it was all for nothing. Not only that but, I also earned GWAMM (God Walking Among Mere Mortals) title in GW1 for which I also worked very hard and which is transferable to GW2, but haven’t got that either.
I’ve been very patient since I felt there were more important issues for the company to deal with but now that the game has settled down, it would be nice if they attended to this matter and not make us feel (at least me) like we’ve been completely forgotten. I’m hoping since they’ve just released the reserved names from GW1 the other day, they will now turn their attention to the HoM issue.

I’ve tried logging into GW1 as well way back when and it didn’t fix my issue.

Login to your GW1 account. Visit the HoM in GW1 to verify your account. Logout. Verify that your GW2 account is actually linked with your GW1 account. The email should match the one you used to login to GW1 with and not the email GW1 or the NCSoft master account is registered under.

Login to GW2 and visit the HoM. The update should be instant.

If you still can’t access it, you’ll have to contact support. Your account is probably not actually linked. Alternatively, you can try forcing an update by adding something to the HoM in GW1.

They said banned accounts wouldn’t be able to be linked long before you could link your GW2 account. It was said on the GW1 forums around a year ago.

Who seriously expects to get rewarded for a banned account.

Well as I explained to support my log in details for gw1 and gw2 ARE different. I never used an email address as my username for gw1, it is a NCSoft account too. When this problem first occurred there was a suggestion by Anet to log into gw1 using same details as gw2, as they were now supposed to be the same. However, when I tried to do that, it came up with an error and I could only log into gw1 using its original log in details and I think that is where my problem lies. Its almost as if anyone who didn’t use an email address as a username in gw1, didn’t get their accounts linked properly or something. I even thought about changing my username and password for gw1 but feel too scared in case something goes wrong and i get locked out of both games. I’m saying this because lot of my friends had no problems with HoM, but unlike me, they all had email address as their username for gw1.
However, one thing I didn’t do when I logged into gw1, is to visit the HoM, so just to be sure, I will try again. So thanks for suggesting that Healix. All I can hope for is that it works. I don’t even care about the rewards so much any more but i do want the pets for my ranger, the mini pets and the titles I’ve earned.

1) Your GW1 account need to have Eye of the North and you need to have added stuff to the HoM in that game. (I realise this seems really basic but I have seen some people posting where that was the problem.)

2) You need to log in to GW1 and go to the HoM. I’m not sure why but it helps.

3) If neither of those helps then you could try switching servers. Particularly if you’re on an EU server switching to a US one, visting the HoM and then switching back (assuming you want to) seems to help. Although this has gotten a lot less desireable since they limited you to 1 transfer every 7 days.
