Cannot connect or stay connected.
Do you have acces to all neccesary ports?
This was an issue at launch as well. And most people didn’t know Gw2 uses some TCP and UDP ports.
Info should be on the site though… But I can be completely mistaken…
edit : found on site:
Guild Wars 2 requires TCP ports 80, 443, 6112 and 6600 to be fully unrestricted and accessible, both inbound and outbound.
From memory :
It also used to contain UDP ports but I cannot retrace the specific numbers.

How can I check that? Also, nothing has changed in 6 months on my end. I was playing fine this morning, and the problem began in the afternoon, around the same time the users in the other threads I linked made their posts.

yeah, this port issue has never been a problem. i’ve never had this problem of being unable to connect/constant disconnecting before, save for not having internet. well save for right now. it’s quite annoying.

These are part of your firewall settings and/or your router settings. I am no netwrok technician I used to be a Database programmer, I know ports and forwarding can be problematic. I also know there used to be a commandline switch for Gw2 to use port 80 (basic internet port, needed for browsing som normally open on all systems)
to try this :

My initial reaction to your post was Then it’s obviously not your router settings unless your router was patched and or reset by your ISP which would be a fail action on their side if they’d have the old user settings flushed.
And this new information also makes my suggestion less likely. but you cold try the settings, if it works flawless afterwards I’d dive into port settings and firewall rules…
Well, I changed my OS, I had custom firewall settings on windows 7
I remade some of those… as I now migrated to windows 10.

Thanks for your help anyway, Pax. As far as I can tell, this is not related to my router.
After watching my resource monitor I found GW2 was hitting the following IP, 64.25.33.54. Trying to hit it in a browser returns a response calling it ArenaSrv/101.44353 Instance/0.448797721.
Tried pinging this for a while. Pretty bad packet loss. Maybe this… something?
Another interesting fact.. when I do manage to log in, no matter where I move my character, I get sent back to Lion’s Arch after crashing.
I never brought this character to Lion’s Arch. I last left her in Dredgehaunt Cliffs this morning.
I have the same issue. I’ve playing for quite awhile and all of a sudden today I’m getting this constant disconnect problem. I do one or tow actions and poof! No other changes have occurred on my end.
Did tracert, and reported results in this thread. OP here is saying it’s an issue with Level 3.
