Guild Wars 2

I’m really confused what to do at this point, I have moved all of the files plus the folder into the guild wars 2 folder and all i get is an error. The ICM log states the following when I try and launch the exe:
Launcher: Starting hooked Hook: Error: Could not start GW2.exe, please make sure ICM.exe and all related files are placed in the Guild Wars 2 folder., Could not start GW2.exe, please make sure ICM.exe and all related files are placed in the Guild Wars 2 folder. The system cannot find the file specified.

If anyone can help i would be extremely grateful as i really wanna get this mod working.

I had the same error when using Windows XP. Once I switched to Windows 7 everything worked. Not sure if that’s helpful but I never could get it running on XP.

Also, this might get deleted since it’s not specifically GW2 related.

I’m running windows 7 too sadly and still having no luck. I wasn’t really sure where to post this as I’ve checked everwhere with no one knowing how to fix it.

No you won’t get banned…it’s not against any rules.

Hmm…sorry Diddydan idk really. Mine’s been working since I upgraded, but that ‘hook error’ is what I was getting before. Make sure you’re launching the ICM.exe? Sorry I can’t be more help.

Load up and patch your original launcher first then close it and load up the ICM launcher.

What is “immersive combat mode”?

Kash I’m not able to even get the launcher to come up all it does is give me an error. My normal launcher is also all patched up as I’m playing on it right now.
