Guild Wars 2

Cannot resize my mini map vertically…. can make it narrower but cannot alter the hight… Have already been through the “ticket” process with this but not found a solution so putting it on here to see if anyone else has the same problem…
Windows 10… i5… Nvidia graphics…

oh weird. I’m pretty sure i’m the opposite (can make it taller or shorter, just not wider)
are you sure your monitor (or head) is not rotated 90degrees to the side?

what resolution are you running at?

I’ve had the same issue since getting my current laptop, which has a wider screen then the previous unit. I’ve always figured that was the reason.

Have you tried to drag the map (holding the bar on the right side of it) to its other available position to see if that helps reset it so it can be fully resized as desired?

• e.g. If it is in the bottom right, drag it to the top right (or top dragged to bottom)

Not sure if it will have any effect, but it may be something worth trying if it has not been yet.

Also, depending on what interface size you are using, you could try changing it to the opposite and back to see if the resizing helps ‘correct’ the behavior of the mini-map.

• e.g. If on ‘Large’ change it to ‘Small’ and then back to ‘Large’ (or small, change to large then back to small)

Just thinking of some quick things that could be tested to help fix it. The other options would include running a repair on the client and/or clearing the stored preferences to see if it helps fix it.
