Is there a way that i can keep useing the german client but see the english map chat? the english map chat is much more active and the community is great
…i also sometimes cant see what people next to me write..but my friends does

There should be an option when you click on the cog in your chat box saying “Show German only”, tick that off and you’ll see chat from all clients (French and Spanish clients included).

Go to options, there should be one you can disable to see chat in all languages. According to the patch notes:

“Added a chat option – enabled by default – that shows only the messages coming from players sharing your client’s text language. "

I’m not at home right now so can’t check exactly where it is, if you haven’t found it by tonight and nobody else has posted about it, I’ll look for it. I know I disabled it right after logging in after that patch

This will be an issue for you, even though you can see what they say… they will not see your responses because you are using the German client unless they turn this feature off as well.

My suggestion to you is to use the English client.

That would, however, mean that those with a German client would not see OP unless they have ticked it off too. Lots of people still don’t know about it.

This is not an issue only for him but for everyone, even those using the English client. So many times someone asks something and I answer it, only for them not to hear me, thinking I’m ignoring them. :/ This option should be off by default instead of on.
