Guild Wars 2

I was wondering if anyone’s heard of plans to bring back capes. I kind of miss the capes with your guild emblem on them from the original guild wars.

Super heroes never wear capes. And I consider myself to be a super hero in this game.

I believe this is a super hero.

Um, a little more on topic: Here is a piece of text from the Guild Wars 2 wiki. "Capes are a sub-type of back item that has not yet been implemented due to clipping issues. " So my guess is that they will be in the game sooner than you know.

I hope they include them, even if they do have clipping issues with some items, I need a back item that isn’t a bag lol

back pieces ideas:

fur( Norns use them all the time),
trophy racks
feather cloaks
books
back packs

Reclusiarh, you forgot leaves cloack.
I, as a sylvari, really would love a cloack made of leaves.

Actually I was thinking of them, they just slipped from my mind in the last second.

I really don’t understand people’s obsession with capes/cloaks. Every RPG has people clamouring for them. Why spend all that time and effort making your armour look cool only to put a cape/cloak on so that you will never see it?

1. The items that do show on the back look dorky. Glad you can hide them.

2. I have 3 80’s and a bunch of alt, and sorry but, I’m really tired of the personal story quests. They are usually long, drawn out, have too much unskippable dialog or filler, and the only real reason for me to do them is because it’s the only way to get a lvl 80 back slot item.

If your alts aren’t mid/high level they can’t get the better cloak from this event (which goes away soon so there’s a limited window).

There really needs to be other ways to get decent back slot items at 80.
