Guild Wars 2

What do you think about the different capitals of Guild Wars 2 and which do you like the most?

The Norn and Charr cities are ok. I really like the feel of the Human and Asura capitols. The Human city has an immersive layout. Rata Sum has a “Jedi temples on Yavin 4” feel.

The thing I like the most about the capital cities is that they are all very different from each other and also reflect very nicely their respective races culture.

My favorite is Divinity’s Reach… to me it’s the perfect representation of a fantasy Human city. It’s simply gorgeous.

Black Citadel, its free of any overly jubilant cheesy NPC quotes like the ones running rampant in Lions Arch.

I also love the atmosphere and Charr culture.

Very much love the Grove. It is beautiful and really well-designed with a wonderful aesthetic.

The other cities have been impressive, to be sure, but that is the one that really won me over.

I like the art of human city on the edge of cliff in cinematic, but ingame is just meh. Didnt visit any other capitals tho.

I do tend to visit Divinity’s Reach more often no matter what race I’m playing. It’s a beautiful place, but the layout is simple as well.

I like Black Citadel is like: “We took our land back and just for lulz we build a mutafkn deathstar on it”

I like the entrance with blood legion on one side and the always epic iron legion siege machines on the other side, the north entrance has a lot of cool and famous charr warriors and we have an arena right inside our deathstar!

Norn city is really lovely, is so clam, is what you expect from a far far far away mountain city. Divinity`s reach is so amazing, a lot of details, a little circus, they even have an aquarium! and is so big, its lovely. I have yet to see rata sum, and the groove is too “green” for my taste, besides im a charr, if i dont hear steel clashing arround, i feel something is missing deep inside.

But i really love most lion`s arch, is just so… pirate! idk, it makes me want to drink rum while im on it lol. Ebonhawke is a nice city, but is a shame most ppl do not go and take a good look at it.

But my favorites are of course, Black Citadel and Lion`s Arch.
