So I’ve been doing the story line and have all the pieces EXCEPT the chest piece. The other pieces you can get doing the story or grinding bandit crests, why not the chest piece?

I’m a casual player and as such am not very well equipped to handle a boss fight, I do try, but with limited time to gear up and everything it’s nigh impossible, grinding a few bandit crests here and there, doing a bit of the story at time, sure, but to make my character elite, not so much.. Please make the chest piece accessible some other way perhaps?

I’ve been waiting for a chance at that one piece for a long time now, and have all the others, if anyone has any suggestions i.e. be on such and such server at such and such time we’d be willing to help you through the boss fight to get the piece or any other way to obtain it, please let me know. Thank you all.

You can find an active Silverwastes map fairly easy in the LFG tool pretty much anytime of the day. As for the boss fights, people will likely describe the tactics of the bosses if asked in map chat. Most of it is really just doing what most of the other people are doing. If you can do the final boss of the latest living story, you can definitely do vinewrath, don’t worry.

You don’t have to make your character elite at all to do the boss; you could run it in rares and be just fine. It’s a pretty easy boss. Just scan the LFG for Silverwastes maps close to breach, and join in with breach and the vine fight.

I haven’t had much difficultly with it either and have gotten all my coat pieces. In fact, I’ve yet to see the Vine event fail. Just find a SW map near complete or at the event and contribute what you can. Most maps have someone explaining the unique mechanisms for each boss.

All you really have to do is follow the mob and make sure you tag the bosses. Gear your self and your traits for survival and bring only skills which will keep you alive. Let the level 80 farmers with full zerker gear do the killing for you.

You can hit level 80 and get full exotic in a week if you run EotM; I’ve seen it done.
