I swear I tried looking this up myself first, but could someone tell me real quick how to get the Carapace Coat Box? I was hella disappointed that it didn’t come with finishing the second story like I assumed it did.

Any idea how often that happens? Sometimes I just wait over there forever and that event just never happens.

There’s also the PvP/WvW reward track that can be done once that gives a choice of one piece of armor.

I know I was an idiot and didn’t realize the significance of that reward track and picked the stupid shoulder thing instead. Actually I’m lucky and the event is happening NOW!

Grats on your first coat box! It’s guaranteed the first VW kill once you have Carapace opened; the next two coats will be RNG whether you get them in two more kills or two hundred more …

You asked how often VW happens, the answer is as fast as the map you’re in advances the event bar in the upper right of the UI. Get forts defended and built up and caravans escorted and other misc events done quickly and you’ll get to VW faster and more likely with enough organized people to get the kill.

People farm SW a LOT; there is almost always a RIBA squad in LFG. Join that and ride the meta train.
