Got this message. These scammers really put some effort into this.

Yeah, there seems to be yet another round of these going on.

The yellow note at the bottom clearly states it’s not from ArenaNet, so that’s helpful, too.

Trolls, trolls, everywhere, and not a shred of decency to spare… sigh. People, huh? =/

I’ve received a lot of those. Always report them, and then delete the message. Reporting them prevents them from continuing the scam.

Report them and move on. Anet will deal with it.

Also remember to look at stickies.

Though since people tend to have their eyes glaze over at the sight of the red text at the top of the forums (me included, I admit, since by their nature stickies tend to be a bit static and thus one doesn’t always note a new one), I suppose it doesn’t hurt to have the occasional alert in the more fluid part of the forums.

God just looking at that link makes me feel creeped out with all those nonsense domains…

Why is there no ‘Report’ button on these things, many other games make it easy to report, this one doesn’t seem to judging by the OP’s screenshot .. I’ve not had one so this is the first time I’ve seem something that looks reportable.

That’s nothing new I took a 6 month break from this game about a year abo and I literally had an entire mailbox filled with those things when I returned.

They must mail them out randomly is all and you just happened to be the lucky winner this time.

With the nice bright yellow warning at the bottom I would hope many players would not fall for this.

In all fairness anyone kitten y enough to fall for that deserves the trouble. I mean, that big disclaimer at the bottom and the goofball domain name…come on.

I’m surprised that OP hasn’t had their account shut down because of their name…

I like how they want you to click the link when in-game mail has no link support.
