Are there hints about what kind of food to feed the cat in-game without going over to Dulfy.com or the Wiki or even reddit?

Are there npc near the cat that gives the hints?

or all are just guess work?

I think it’s mostly guesswork, but there’s a couple that if you feed something to it’ll say something like “It wants something hotter!” Like if you give it one food item(a Spicy Flank Steak) but it actually wants a different one(a Spicier Flank Steak). I’ve fed them all already so unfortunately I can’t check in-game.

there are THOUSANDS of food items in game. youll NEVER figure it out :/

One clue is that the cats only eat things that cats would (more or less) normally like. Unless the cat gives you a clue for something odd. (I think the ones in Ember Bay gave clues.)

So, think: fish, chicken, milk, beef, liver…that sort of thing.
