When the event is active, Is there someone way to avoid the hundreds of mobs and hit the SP?

Or should I just give up on Straits map completion?

Either try to change map, wait (or better, organize) a recapturing zerg, or come back later when the temple has been retaken.

I’ve logged on 4 days in a row, contested and no one is interested in organizing. Probably doesn’t help that I can only play late hours, but nothing I can do about that.

Previously I just kept guesting until I found a server with it completed, but sadly that doesn’t work anymore.

A friend and I were able to hide in a nook, shadow refuge, and grab it, amazingly enough.

Get one, just one to pop a commander tag and usually people will stream there.

It’s possible to guest to get on a different shard of the map you are on, however it’s not dependable. Guesting may put you on another shard or you may return to the shard you just left. It falls into the “better than nothing” category for trying to find an open temple.

When i had hard to do skill points for my first WC i found this item to be of great help.

Even if you can’t use stealth or can’t find an open temple, you can get a couple friends together (preferably with high DPS) and slowly clear a path. Focus fire the Veteran Acolytes first, as they spawn more mobs.

Which event? The assault? if it’s running, then there are most likely other players here, that will distract the mobs for you. If not, wait till the assault succeeds or fails.
If you mean “when it is contested” however, then yes, it can be done. First, it is often possible to stealth past the mobs and cap sp that way. Second, even fighting your way in is possible. The key lies in understanding that there aren’t really “hundreds of mobs” in there. It’s the Acolytes that keep summoning new risen – so you’d just need to burst them down, preferably individually, without aggroing more than one at the same time. The whole way can even be soloed, although it is better to go with 2-3 friends.
