Celebratory Dye Pack thing!
I’d personally opt for one of the most expensive ones that also look good. Electro blue (from the Taimi set) would be my first choice, probably. It really looks lovely, if you like blue colors. Pyre (from Flame Dye kit) is a really nice gold dye. Imperial Red (from Crimson Lion kit) is my favorite red in the game.
This wiki page has a list of every dye you can get from the Celebratory Dye Pack, and it shows their current price on the TP. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Celebratory_Dye_Pack
Pyre is quite nice, from the Flame collection (don’t remember the exact name). It’s a deep, rich gold.
I recommend opening the TP, searching for dyes, sorting them by price and using the kit to get the most expensive one you really like.
I also recommend previewing them instead of just looking at the tiny sample square because some (such as the enamelled dyes) have effects which don’t really show up until you preview them.
If you’re not sure hold onto it until you find a dye you really want and cannot imagine being able to afford (or wouldn’t be willing to pay for).

I think I might do that, there’s so many! The super expensive ones are so nice too. I’d best wait.
-Deep Glacial Sky is really nice blue.
-Charred is good is hands down the best dye in the game for emphasising your armour’s texture.
-Cinders is also good at bringing out texture, but its a bit mouldy-looking. Might work well on a bone-themed character.
-Cyanide is the most multichromatic dye in the game (Depending on what armour and texture it goes on, it can turn anywhere from Blue, to Green, to a tinge of Yellow.)
-Molten is a good orange, but it reacts strangely to leather, turning darker or lighter.
-Gold Fusion is a very good “dirty” yellow, if you want a yellow thats a bit grittier, and doesn’t come up too bright like Flare or Pyre, it also looks like pretty convincing brass if used on a metallic texture.
-Enamelled dyes work nicely on heavily textured skins, but they can turn a bit neon if on flat surfaces.
-Electro dyes if you want to make a statement…or upset a few epileptic players. Glint dyes also fall into the bright/neon category, but just on a less offensive brightness.

I’ve held onto a few packs now from toons since I have the same dilemma. I have picked up 1 or 2 from using the dye preview and playing around with the locked colours until I found one perfect for my looks.
I don’t know how old your characters are, but you’ll get the same dye pack as the 3rd birthday gift. Still a tough choice.
My problems is different I have 2 of those dye packs lying around and I cnanot use them, as the 18 missing dyes ,whcih are not unlocked on my account, are not included in the selection options… as for the dyes being account bound the only thing left is to get 2 brown ones and ue it for my scribe -.-
Great celebration.
Been There, Done That & Will do it again…except maybe world completion.
-Charred is good is hands down the best dye in the game
