First of all, I just want to say that the patch preview was amazing, and I am very excited for the future of this game. that aside, one glaring omission left my jaw agape. we need to be able to change all this expensive and time gated armor to any standard stat set, because the crit damage nerfs between celestial and zerker are not 100% proportional.

whatever nerfs you have for crit damage was fine by me. but the “ferocity” nerfs definitely hit the extremely strong celestial set harder than the other sets. I would definitely go back from full celes like to a zerker/celes mix, for myself. but since I am a poor wvw/pvper…I really cannot be expected to start over on the pieces I just spent my months of gold I have on. As it stands I literally have three gold to my name. If I wasn’t able to change the armor I just got…I would be absolutely demoralized thinking about even starting all that crafting over.

I hope you can offer an option for celestial gear to change to something else, just like you did with the removal of magic find. I do not think its much to ask, because many people like myself analyze their builds to reach 100% optimum stats and have been happily building towards it. if you want to change things on us, just give us the option to change so everyone can be happy.

the strength inherent in Celestial gear was its versatility, not its stat array. This being said as has been said in many other topics now, Ascended Celestial gear has a greater Critical Damage % increase than Ascended Zerker gear does whereas moving forwards with the proposed Ferocity change, Celestial gear will have a significantly lower Ferocity value than the Zerker gear.
