This article fails to explain what will happen with Celestial when MF is removed:

One of the main reason why many liked to use Celestial is because of the MF combined with all the other stats. And compared to Ascended, its stats will seems even less useful.

Will it just be removed, or will it be changed with something else? And if so, what will be the new stat be for new Celestial armors and weapons you craft?

Also, people complaints about the time it takes to make an ascended gear: Celestial, if you are out of crystals, you need to harvest your node (if you are unlucky, it is 3 crystals every day, lets say 8 days for just one fused crystal, and multiply that with 5 to get 5 fused ones, that is over a month for just one piece!), and you are only allowed to fuse one crystal a day, and 5 fused crystals is needed, so it is a minimum of 5 days even if you have enough crystals for each piece.

As it currently stands, the MF stat will just be removed with no supplement or compensation to those who invested in the ridiculously gated content. So, ANet is basically awarding the guinea pigs of the new Ascended gear system with a big, fat “**** YOU!”

Maybe boon duration? I know traveler is getting boon duration and become Celestial like.

Rune of the Traveler will grant all stats, condition damage, boon duration and movement speed.

Not the armor mind you just the rune.

Yeah, but I doubt it’ll be like Divinity runes where it gives a boost to all stats. It’s probably something lame like:

(1) +10 to healing
(2) +15 to Toughness
(3) +25 to Power
(4) +50 to Precision
(5) +75 to Vitality
(6) +100 to Cnd Dmg and 10% movement speed
