Actually, I cant use a different race to complete Core Mastery Points for story chapters. Anet cancelled/stopped that. So your list is wrong.
Just to be sure what you mean by old redoing old story chapters. Redoing old personal story chapters will not give you more achievement points. it’s one set of mastery points for doing the story once. Repeating it on another race won’t give you more.
Right , In my [Achievement] Categories Panel for Story Journal, I can get 8 Points by going back into them and completing individual achievements for each one of the 8.

If you’re talking about the personal story, the achievements and mastery points are by chapter only. Once per account
No that’s not what I’m talking about. In your Categories panel for Achievements, there is one for Story journal. If you go in there[at least on my account] you can see where different places give you central Tyria and Hot mastery points for different things.
The last personal Story we just did combined achievements and living story together.
I’m talking about just the RED Mastery Points, I seem to be short on them. I don’t have a total on what I’ve already earned but just that I’m left with few places to go to get the rest.

You may have missed the explanation at the top:
Note that for the Hero achievements, a mastery point is only awarded the first time a player completes the personal story arc for that level…
It was never cancelled or stopped; just a misunderstanding by the playerbase from the way it’s showed in the Achievement Panel.

That list is completely correct. Those are all the core Tyria mastery points you can get. Now, when it comes to story achievements for individual chapters (not the personal story concerning Zhaitan, but LS season 2 achievements) you need to do them on a character that has already run through those chapters once. If you only did them with one character then yes, you can’t use a different character and have to redo them with the character who did go through those chapters.
All the other achievements can be done by whatever character you want. The Fractal achievements aren’t tied to the level of Fractals. You can do them on tier 1 difficulty or tier 4 difficulty, whatever you prefer. As long as you perform the specific action described in the achievement.

I’m not really sure what help we can give you. If you’re asking if some were bugged, I don’t think we have an easy way to know. Most people got them as a done thing when the expansion started with no way to see if one was done but not rewarded. All we can say is do the ones that show available.

It is simple to see if the achievement was completed but not rewarded, because one could compare the list on the wiki to one’s achievements and see if the total matches the total available one has for Central Tyria.
If the OP wants, they can visit gw2efficiency.com (or similar sites) and enter an API key (from http://account.arena.net/ ) and post the URL here (or message it to any of us offering help). That way, we can see the same list of achievements and help with the comparison and identify what remains and/or what to work on.
For what it’s worth:
- 66 points are avail in central Tyria.
- 14 of those points are available via Fractals
- 49 points are needed to unlock all central Tyria masteries
- 11 points are needed to unlock the fractal masteries.
Or put another way, you need only 38 points to unlock the masteries outside of fractals and there are 52 available — you don’t need to enter fractals necessarily.

Yes. You can see the totals but if one or any was bugged can you see which one that you did that didn’t give you a point? After all, you can physically count the red stars you have on your mastery panels, but that won’t say this one or that one was bugged and you didn’t get it.
I’d suggest trying out fractals. As mentioned, they can all be obtained in T1, so no AR is needed until #20.
Most are fairly easy….e.g. /dance with holograms, /bow to colossus. Others are a matter of asking your team to help you… e.g. kill all the Jade Maw trash mobs, kill all the chickens in Urban. Only a few are actually hard… I’ve completely given up on Subject Deep Sixer.
