Just do less DPS.
Then you’ll run into the others (like myself) who prefer to be able to stand in the open world and not be constantly attacked no matter where we are. That allows for RP time. Also my immersion is increased if “settled” areas allow some safety for civilians, even if they’re not an in-game safe zone city.
I too think the density is fine. The major issue I have with HoT is that it’s too densely packed.

I think the density is fine as is. There’s mobs everywhere already. No need to have them standing practically shoulder to shoulder.
ANet may give it to you.
There should be a bit more density in areas where renowed hearts are active and require you to kill enemies imo, but other than that, nah.
There should be roads with few mobs, but perhaps not the straightest line from point A to B.
Off the roads, in the woods or swamp, increase density a bit.
So the increase-enemy-density thing is the meme of the week? Several people seem to be spouting threads about it now.
