Chain Knock Down
Communicate with your team then. Or bring a stun breaker.
Before you ask Anet to change things, you should ask yourself and other people how you, yourself, can improve and do things differently to avoid these situations.
The Burrowers in AC do the same. It’s really annoying.
Sure, you can get a stun-breaker but it’s always one of these things your forget until you’re chain-stunned again.
Of course as a ranged DPS this is nothing you need to worry about. Just continue watching TV while avoiding red circles and you’re set.

Every class can ranged dps. The game is clearly balanced around this fact.

I do not think this need to be changed, because it can be avoided in my experience as a melee charter.
It’s important to have a stun breaker equipped even if it’s just for that part; it takes 1 sec to change it, and do not waist it unnecessary watch your HP and see if you really are going to have to use it.
Also the initial attack can often be avoided by dodging, the scavenger’s in AC before they do there leap nock down their faces glow and you can dodge just need to be paying attention.
Commutation also helps, although if you’re paying in pugs it can be hard, if you’re paying with some you know then they can knock the creatures of you the guardian shield bubble is perfect for this.
Use a stability skill or trait if you have one:

Or an Order of the Whispers Spy Kit if you don’t:

We run the group with 2 warriors, using Shake it Off, plus as a warrior myself, I also have a signet that removes conditions. Doesn’t alter it. You’d think 3 stun breakers would work. But continually being knocked down, means wasted signets/abilities
I also use Signet of the Dolyak which gives stability, and the other warrior uses stability, as well as our elementalists. We basically all run stability constantly
However, I think I may need to move people around. My guardian seems to be okay, but it’s just crap if we have someone that falls behind a little or moves back. The continually knock down is annoying.

they strip boons off. anyway, you can dodge all graveling scavenger KD chains. they do a damned obvious rearing back animation followed by a slow enough leap. sparks fly out their kitten when they are about to pounce. dodge roll and continue dps. also, even if it’s the boss(rumblus) or the champion…CC moves will interrupt the attacks once they’ve caught someone, so don’t just stand there like a fool watching your party die to it.
stun breakers and stability are nothing to these guys. they CHAIN the attacks, so unless you hit the kitten with a CC, prepare to get KD again. KD, KB, Stun, Daze, blowout make them stop the move entirely and do something else. if they already have someone down they continue the animation but the actual hits stop once cc’d.

I was talking about Path 2 in CoF, not AC
I can easily do AC without a problem.
I’ve always solved the problem with stability or stun breakers o.O
lv80 Necromancer, all professional skills unlocked, working on the final norn elite skills.
ithink they are more like a scorpion not spider.and you are talking about the “destroy the devourer nest” event in path 2 of cof. Just pop up stability and stun breaker and you will be fine.
