Firstly, pardon me for my bad english, I come from Asia..
Just for share, and give criticism + suggestion …

Today, my first time on Gendarran field.
I have kill 3 champions (solo) on this map
first, Spider champion around Almuten Mansion.
need 30 minutes for kill this champion by myself. + die and + champion get reset their HP bar. after kill this spider I got 2 Fine armor and small XP… My first reaction is; maybe this is my unlucky champion.

next, I found another champion on Gendarran field. Troll cave at overlook cavern.
I kill this champion by myself again. Need around 30 minutes for kill these champ + died. again, I got fine gear. More worst, I just got only one fine gear + small XP. Now I thinking, this is bug or what?

after that, I found another champion (spider Queen) around vista at overlook cavern.
Now I take a screen shoot for this champion for prove. Again I got only one fine gear…

my Question is:
Is this bug? only on champion gendarran field?

Please help for check…
this is waste my time for killing it. I’m new in here, My character level still 30.
And when I fighting with these champion I hope some good gear will drop so I can use it…

this is not worth, I have died more than 3 times…

No, it’s not a bug or limited to Gendarren Fields. Champs are not worth fighting anywhere—unless you are fighting purely for sport. But, check out the latest blog post by Colin. Changes are coming to make fighting champs worth the effort.

Champions dont give you any XP, they are just same mobs as Veterans and ordinary ones. I think you missed something. There are Dynamic Events that occur anytime, anywhere. Sometimes these events include a task to kill a certain Champion, this is common in starting areas, and less common in other places. So I think when you thought you got much XP, like 10% or 12% of your lvl, from Champion, it was actually from Dynamic Event that required to kill that champion and rewarded with XP
