alright, so what u guys think it would be better, have the items and dyes account bound or keep it as soul bound, i honestly would like it should be account bound, but i know it would skyrocket some prices so its under stable so, ¿what would be better?

You know what needs to be account bound, mystic salvage kits, blueprints, BL tools and anything that comes out of the forge soulbound.

Dyes are fine as is. I don’t know what you mean by other “items”?

I don’t really get why blueprints are bound at all when you can just drop them on the ground as a bundle.

I agree on the blueprints, I don’t WvW at all but I got a few from a toon that did the storyline, I would like to just dump them into the guild bank for the players that do pvp.

Only thing I can think of is it stops you from mailing them to people already in a keep. I don’t have a problem with that but with them soulbound they are using up something like 35 of my bank slots.

They should make pvp consumables like the blueprints go into the collectables tab with the crafting materials and minipets. Heck, they should also make the dungeon tokens also go in there. The spvp items should also be able to be put into the spvp bank, like the finish emote things and the tickets.

But more on topic, i agree that they should make most of these things account bound and some of them shouldn’t even be bound to begin with.

+ 1 on blueprints being freed…. I only do wvw for monthly but have several guildies who can use those bp to get me nice world bonuses. Right now I just find any tower and drop the bp that is taking up storage space. and forget about it. doubt this is intended

Personally I think everything should be account bound except maybe soulbound gear and USED dyes.

I could care less whether or not dyes were account bound or not. It does seem pointless to make them char bound but it’s not a big deal to me.

It would be nice to see this happen, more so for weapons and armor, or at the very least if i equip the item it becomes soul bound.

At the very least I’d like the ability to transfer dyes from one character to another, maybe using account-bound “dye bottles” that you have to pay silver for.

One of my friends ran into a bug that made his character join the wrong order, and the only thing that stopped him from deleting the character and starting over was the fact that he’d already bought several dye packs from the gem store.

Account bound dye is a really old topic. In the BWE I thought character bound dyes was a good idea. I think though now that I would pay more attention to them if they were account bound. I just sell them now, I’m completely indifferent to them. If they were account bound I’d probably start collecting them, at least the ones I loot.

All cosmetic gear should be account bound, not soulbound.
All gear bought with gems should be account bound, not soulbound.
All limited time / seasonal gear should be account bound on pickup, but not soulbound.

Dye packs bought with gems should unlock the dye account-wide.

Everything else is fine. Dye drops being per-character are a bit annoying but it’s usually only between 10 and 150 silver to get the specific combination of dyes you want for an alt, providing you don’t need your alt to change colours every day and providing you can live without celestial/abyss dye, and keeping them per-character makes it more fun when an unidentified dye drops – it’s more likely to be usable.
