Change to the Genesis particle effect?

So from its release until I just noticed it, the Genesis hammer skin had a flowy watery light ripple effect to its golden glow. Now, it doesn’t. It’s just a static glow in the hammer. I was wondering what spurred this change, as the ripple effect was one of the reasons I got the skin in the first place.

I know culling was recently changed, and therefore some sort of graphics properties were probably manipulated, but this doesn’t seem like something that would be affected. I don’t know, to me it made the hammer go from “really awesome” to “pretty cool”. Bummed that it’s such a rare piece and, as such, cost quite a bit of coin to obtain. Was just wondering if there was a reason or “just because”. Perhaps it’s just me or something with my client.

For people who are interested in or have been saving for Genesis you might want to preview it again [&AgGlrwAA]. As far as I can tell, Entropy is unchanged.

It’s difficult to capture in a screenshot, since the ripple is an animation, but you can kinda tell:

I can’t see anything that has changed re: Genesis – it just looks different in different lighting.
