Changes to Ascended Vending
I must be one of the only ones who agrees with ANet on this, it was far too cheap to get ascended from PVP. It is supposed to be difficult to get, it is not a requirement that you get it as you can run around with exotics all you want and still win. Those of us who have put the time and effort into crafting, spending up to 100G a piece for ascended gear only to see cheap kitten in PvP makes you wonder why you bother, but luckily they have now seen the error of their ways.
Yes, but now crafting is the most efficient way to go, time- and money-wise. Who wants to grind several hundred matches plus invest gold on top of that when they can simply craft their armor and weapons?
This whole new system is useless and turns new PvP players off. No motivation for casual players, either. Who wants to put up several hours a day with toxic kids and griefers without even being rewarded for the nerves wrecked during the time? I certainly don’t.
