I started out when it was released. Went and played with a few people and quit like 2 weeks later.
Now someone else has convinced me to play with him and I’d like to move to his server.
I remember you promised that we can play where ever we like.
A transfer costs 1800 gems and look.. I’m not going to grind and farm solo to buy 1800 gems just so I could transfer and play with my friend as I will surely not pay any real money to buy gems.
The guest option is no option since we can’t play PvP content as a team.
What happens when I delete my chars? Is everything gone? Am I even able to start over on a new server without some arbitrary fee?
Tbh I’d like a free transfer.

You get to keep your bank stuff and stuff in your wallet. Just have to level characters again.

Ok then I’ll do that. Sucks for the time wasted on crafting tho.

Yeah but crafting is a joke in gw2 anyways. By the way, remember to put your inventory bags etc all in bank. You lose everything on the characters you delete.

Money is part of the wallet.

I was stupid and deleted my character with all 20 slot bags, 16 transmutation stones, and my ascended staff. DO NOT make that mistake. Actually, you might want to salvage all of the gear off of your current character and put the mats into your bank.
