One of the things I loved visually while playing WoW, is that despite the rather mediocre textures and model resolution, I could always crank the ground clutter up to an insanely high level and it would make outdoor zones look far better than they otherwise would.

Is there a setting for this in GW2?

The ground clutter is rather sparse in this game from what I’ve seen so far, and it would really make it look fantastic if I could cover the flat poly-ground in lush sprites as far as the engine will draw.

go to ‘game menu’ (gear icon in top left corner of your screen) or press ‘f 11’. go to ‘graphics options’ (the ‘moon & mountains’ icon under the wrench icon) then change the ‘environment’ setting. this ‘controls the complexity of terrain, props, decals & ground cover.’

Ahh, didn’t realize that was a part of that setting, thanks.
