Guild Wars 2

Multi-part question:
How do I change my home world? Is it still free? And if so, how long will it be free until?

1- To change your home world, when you log in to character select on the lower left corner is a button for world selection. When you open it you will see a list of servers. Pick one and the option to transfer appears.

2- As far as I know it is still free. How long it remains so remains to be seen. If I had to make my best guess I would say at least for a month or so, till the population of players stabilizes. Right now there is still a mad rush to get into the new and shiny game, and not everyone who is “unimpressed” has left the game yet.

Sidenote- I have discovered that no matter what server you are on, if you have friends on other servers and you group with them, you can still run into them on overflow servers. I have actually run events with people in other servers because we were both in the same zone and both sent to overflow.
