So I’m a Mesmer and I think it’s absolutely ridiculous how a channel skill can still follow you even though you go invisible. I was doing sPVP last night and got torn apart by longbow rangers. Every time they would do Longbow skill #2 (Rapid Fire) I would use Decoy and run away. Problem is, as I’m running away invisible (not just straight back but diagonally away from where I was standing), I’M STILL GETTING SHOT. Ok maybe I’m just a crybaby. Second example, Ranger greatsword skill #3 (Swoop). I was attacked by 2 rangers, both opened with Rapid Shot. I have 18K HP, I lost about 16.5K HP in the initial onslaught. Fair enough, at least I was still alive. I pop my elite skill, Mass Invisibility, and start running away. As I’m running, once again not even in the same direction as I was before, one of the rangers behind me uses Swoop and pounds me into the floor! Needless to say I died. Sorry but last time I checked, Invisibility should mean that you’re, um, invisible. Rangers shouldn’t be able to still follow you with their channel skills. Not sure if this is a bug or intentional but it should be fixed.

Offhand focus with Reflect and Feedback for the win.

Reflect and vanish.

Stealth, has a problem that persist in every way in many situations, even in other games. Unfortunately, in Gw2, we have this very annoying issue of the *cast skill on target, follows thro stealth mode/invisibility.

This happens all the time with thieves, rangers, mesmers and engs (i think, not sure about this last one), its been 2 years since launch, they really should look into those “details”, but oh well, there are more concerns that require more emergency. haha :P

About the Swoop, i think it were predicted, im sorry, not saying youre a noob or any L2p issue, but after a time, really good players start to imagine where the stealthed enemy are and hit that spot with their powerful attacks.

Maybe u got bad luck, but, tell us more about your experience in pvp, is always nice to see these stories
