A lot of people keep saying they will be in the gemstore. For those of you that are in the know , is that true?

The description once you preview them strongly implies it’ll be something new with the ecto-skritt. Or possibly the forge. But mostly the ecto-skritt.

It would make thematic sense to add it to the ecto skritt, because it’s historically linked to ectos, but a gemstore item seems more likely, as RoseofGilead says.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but those look to be an armor skin, not an outfit of any kind. And they’ve said that all new armor skins will be in-game, not gem store. Yes?

I’m going to guess that it was full sets of armor that will be reward in game for doing content but that they’ll make an exception for individual items such as gloves and helms.

Pretty much everything has a code. The problem is finding it. New items such as this that Dulfy talks about will usually have the code listed (that’s where I got this one).

Its unclear if they meant full sets would only appear in-game or if they just came to their senses about a policy that was infuriating no small number of people.

Believe me, I’m voting with my wallet and I hope the trend continues.
