So I got one of the character name change things and I wanted to change the name of my engineer to ‘Oiled Cog’. I didn’t mean it in a dirty way or anything. It was meant for the fact that I change his spec to however he is needed for the situation in WvW at that moment. Also it sounds really engineer-ish.

A guild member told my that I may get in trouble for it because of sexual connotations. I want to make this name but will I get in trouble for it sounding sexual? I don’t want to waste my character name change sheet.

Oiled Cog is a sexual connotation? I think it might be easier to just list what doesn’t refer to sex…
You only get “in trouble” if you’re reported, I don’t know…sex isn’t the first thing I think of when I see that.

Just try it. If ANet has a problem with the name (and it doesn’t seem all that sexual to me), the worst they’ll do is make you change it to something else.

Whoever told you that had sexual connotations is either a weird sexual deviant or has no idea about sex.

I vote the latter

Name should cause no problems.
